The surfaces are lustrous and velvety smooth, with a hint of gold hue on the reverse. This is an excellent specimen that has rightly earned its MS64 grade! While in 1896 5 million Morgan Dollars were produced in San Francisco, nearly all of them were immediately released for circulation, making full Mint State specimens a rare find.
