The devices are boldly struck, with plenty of gorgeous detail throughout. The cold white surfaces are clear and smooth and have retained their full original mint luster. Add to these conspicuous qualities an eye-catching cartwheel shine, and you have a Peace Dollar whose beauty very few coins could hope to match! In 1925, the Philadelphia Mint produced just over 10 million Peace Dollars. Most of this mintage has been lost to circulation or was destroyed during the massive bullion melts of the 1930s.
