CUBA Punta Alegere Sugar Co. 1926 Stock Shipping Info (Click to Enlarge) (Click to Enlarge) This beautiful CUBAN PUNTA ALEGRE SUGAR COMPANY (related to Florida Sugar Company, a Cuban corporation) was controlled by Chase Manhattan Bank in 1927, the sugar mills owned by this company are (sugar mills: Punta Alegre, Baragua, Baguano, Tacajo, Macareno, San German, Florida, Caracas, San Agustin) based in Cuba. Beautiful vignette of workers in a sugar cane field with workers loading an ox drawn cart. Dated 1928, signed by VP, William Smith and EE Garrie, treasurer. Engraved by American Banknote Co. Boston. Excellent condition, image is typical.
