Description
Offered here is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting patterns in the Judd catalog: Judd 1690. This is an 1882 “NO CENTS” Liberty Nickel, identical to the 1883 first year of issue. Although not as rare as the 1913, very few of these were struck (a dozen?). This, however, unlike the 1913, is an official U.S. Mint issue! This particular copy is a beautiful, flawless, brilliant PCGS Proof-66! (PCGS No. 62095.66/5078123) When this one was encapsulated, it was the highest graded Judd-1690 in existence. It is housed in one of the older PCGS slabs, smaller and plainer than those used today. And this is quite significant. Grading standards have changed over time, and the coins graded in the early days will often obtain a higher grade today. This is the chance of a lifetime for the Liberty Nickel enthusiast! Don’t miss out! Pay Pal, certified check or money order. *************** Shipping by registered mail within the forty-eight states and D.C. is $35.00. Shipping rate to other locations to be determined. Please check my other items.
