The first gold coins produced by the Perth Mint featured a series of famous natural gold nuggets on the reverses of the coins, and this theme was continued through until 1988. The fact that just 3 sets were in this series meant that many, many collectors busted their backsides to get a complete set back then!They may not be quite as popular today, however remain excellent value for money.
